Kitchen Fitting Northampton

A kitchen fit involves more trades working to tighter tolerances than almost any other room in the house, units, worktops, plumbing, electrics and often flooring and tiling all need to come together in the right order for the finished result to look and function properly. We fit kitchens across Northampton and Milton Keynes.

What Kitchen Fitting Involves

  1. Stripping out the existing kitchen, including safe disconnection of plumbing and electrics

  2. First fix plumbing and electrics for the new layout, including any changes to appliance positions

  3. Installing units, worktops and splashbacks to a level, properly aligned standard

  4. Connecting appliances, plumbing and electrics, including any new sockets or lighting specified

  5. Flooring and tiling, where these form part of the project

  6. A final check that everything is level, sealed and working properly before we finish

Supply and Fit or Fitting Only

We can supply and fit a complete kitchen, or fit units and worktops you've sourced yourself, whichever suits your project and budget. Either way, coordinating the plumbing, electrics and other trades around the installation is treated as part of the same job rather than left for you to arrange separately.

Note

Building Regulations for Kitchen Work

Electrical work in a kitchen, being a location with water present, falls under specific Building Regulations requirements, and any new circuits or significant electrical alterations need to be carried out by a qualified electrician and properly certified. Similarly, any gas appliance work must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer. We'll confirm exactly how the electrical and, where relevant, gas aspects of your project will be certified as part of the quote.

Why Choose Bridgework

  • Proper coordination of plumbing, electrics and fitting as one managed project

  • Precise, level installation of units and worktops

  • Appropriately qualified trades for electrical and gas work, with proper certification

  • A clear quote before work starts
